International photo contest for everybody
We are already preparing the International Photo Contest within the OUTART project. Call for photos is coming very soon! The instructions will be available in this website and then you will know how to participate and how to achieve one of the prizes. It is an open contest for all the young people in Europe that will be open during April 2014. We want to show Europe that people with disabilities and/or mental illness is able to communicate through images about their life, dreams, interests, problems, views, etc. Let’s join us in this amazing trip throughout photographs.
OUTART virtual museum already available
OUTART team is already working in the photo-artistic workshops and feedback is being really positive! All the artistic works are available in Flickr OUTART account, you can easily access to this virtual museum by clicking in the link below. After the hand-on trainings, where OUTART youngsters learnt how to use a digital camera, how to edit a picture, some basics about networking, etc., they are taking the opportunity of putting into practice all the knowledge acquired. Also, the visits to exhibitions and art-museums were really useful to become aware of artistic expression as a tool to communicate with other people.
You will surprise about the excellent work done by these youngsters and you will know a little bit more about their world.
Introducing OUTART to European young people: which topics are important for you?
Local meetings were held in Finland, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia and Spain in order to gather youngsters and agree on their interests and topics to be dealt with. Groups of youngsters and their parents together with workshop leaders decided what was relevant to them.
